Bio
I am blessed with the gift of being born and raised in Mexico
my family and I moved to the countryside when I was 11, a sad moment for me as I had to leave my childhood friends like Renata, Paloma and Mapi to never see them again, which I was always having the most epic of times, from creating spas, to designing homes inside shoeboxes, to creating hotels in the branches of my gransmothers garden, and eating mango pudding together but found an incredible life in Valle de Bravo, with incredible people who I am still friends with till this day.
and was such a significant time in my life surrounded by incredible teachers from Australia and Britain like Shama ( Half Swiss + Brit half rajasthani) and my history teacher Karina who taught me all I know and enkindled a passion of knowledge of history.
who tranformed my life experience and also was so lucky to have beautiful friendships like Martina and Grace, whos own femenine selves inspired my own self and my friend Ernie, who I love and Edgar and Dhruva and Pau who at the age of 11 joined their yoga studio and was meditating and tripping balls with Shankar’s meditations and learning the dhyana sloka with Drhuva.
at the age of 14 years, after my parents divorce I was given the opportunity to leave Mexico to baording school in North Vancouver, Canada where I lived for a year and became an incredible skiier as my friend Giulia Galloni taught me so kindly and patiently ( his father an italian olympian skier) and it is something I will never forget our after school skiing trips, we lived 15 minutes from the mountain!
I returned to Mexico to highschool and joined the international program and studying abroad and living wiht my best friends and learn french (my very rusty third language) in french Switzerland ( and wanted to be part of the UN and study internaitonal realtionships) the south of France and Barcelona. (Little did I know that this places amplified my venus lines and I have never been the same after that)
What a strange time teenhood is, each one of this places holds a deep place in my heart and have shaped my own cosmology and culture.
When I came back to my village, I was 18 years old. It has been 4 years of intense movemenet but pretty epic stuff tbh and my parents and I went to this local place called El Punto, the most beautiful soulful palces I have ever been for breakfast, and I feel in love of admiration and awe with the owner Sandra, which hired me and mentored me and inspired me for a life time and I made up my mind and thats who I wanted to be, a restaurant owner but I wanted to go back to Europe so badly, so I went back to Rotterdam in the Neatherlands, where I lived the whole summer in the most beautiful vintagy dutchy hostel and rode my bike everywhere and discovered the power of LOVE ( unleashed by many dance parties with MDMA) and freedom and Osho, his book of sex changed my life.
After I came back from the Netherlands, I was heartbroken and depressed. MDMA in excess is not good and came being a godess of beauty into a pit of snakes (teen boys) who smoked so much marijuana.
I created a dependency which until 5 years ago I broke free from. On one hand marijuana saved my life from alcoholisim, nicotine and bad music taste but also put me in situations of a lot of pain and wreck.
My mother suggested I should visit my uncle in Toronto, Canada who was a very sucessful chef and owned Torito Tapas Bar, the most famous spanish restaurant in town, and so I did. I put all my teengood pains and travelled to Toronto and WOW! what a trip decided to go to college there and fully become a restaurant manager
so went to college for Food and Beverage Managament + Culinary Arts
and my whole career was about experiencing the most beautiful incredible expansive experiences from working at Forno Cultura to then doing an internship at Bika Farm with Iron Chef, Fisun Ercan in Montreal.
